Reading the latest IBX‘s newsletter this morning, I discovered their new – to my eyes! – European Purchasing Magazine called “Efficient Purchasing“, published twice a year. Pretty good I must say, here is how the magazine is introduced:
Efficient Purchasing is a new industry magazine for sourcing and procurement professionals in Europe. It aims to be an inspiring forum for opinions, best practice, and innovative ideas. The publication is wholly financed by the purchasing services and solutions provider IBX with the conviction that efficient purchasing is fundamental for competitiveness and value creation in any company today.
The magazine will be published twice a year with our premier issue distributed in September 2005. Senior purchasing managers in Germany, UK, Benelux and the Nordic countries will receive the first issue free of charge. Additional on-site distribution will also be available at a variety of key sourcing and procurement events in Europe. All practitioners in the purchasing profession can get a free subscription by filling in the form on our homepage.
The editorial content will focus on all aspects of the purchasing process, and Efficient Purchasing welcomes your feedback.
3 points – at least! – not to miss:
- You can subscribe free for the March 06 issue of Efficient Purchasing magazine as long as you are a practitioner in the purchasing profession or an academic working in the purchasing, supply chain or logistics fields.
- All the articles from the current and past issues of Efficient Purchasing are available for immediate free-downloads as PDF-files here. Unfortunatly there are no RSS feeds available… I’ll ask Eva Svensson, the editor, if she can help!
- The “moving procurement in the 21st century” article, an interview of Andy Kyte, a Gartner B2B purchasing guru.
